This presentation takes a look at the rise and fall of the Corn Exchanges in the UK and the rest of the world and the beautiful architecture that was left behind. Join me for a look at the rapid expansion and demise of the UK Corn Exchanges throughout a short 30 year period towards the end of the 19th century.  The one big difference with this demise compared to countless others in history is that it has left us with a legacy of magnificent architecture that is still an important part of UK heritage.
